Art psychopathologique : 60 ans après ?

«Le 24e numéro de la revue area questionne la notion de la folie dans l’art, en s’intéressant à ce que la folie permet d’apprendre sur l’art» (pré-sommaire). Area n’est pas seulement une revue, c’est aussi une galerie située près des Grands Boulevards dans le cœur historique de Paris.

 

 A l’occasion de la sortie de ce numéro important, cette galerie s’associe avec le Centre d’Etude de l’Expression du Groupe hospitalier Sainte-Anne pour une exposition intitulée 60 ans après?

Cette exposition se présente comme la «Reconstitution de l’Exposition internationale d’art psychopathologique de 1950». Concernant l’exposition de 1950, on peut lire l’ouvrage de Robert Volmat paru en 1955 : L’Art psychopathologique.

André Breton avait conservé un exemplaire de ce livre dans sa bibliothèque.

C’est tout dire.

Area non è solo una rivista, ma anche una galleria poco distante dai Grands Boulevards, nel cuore storico di Parigi.

Approfittando della pubblicazione di questo numero importante, la galleria ha organizzato con il concorso del Centre d’Etude de l’Expression du Groupe hospitalier Sainte-Anne una mostra intitolata 60 ans après ? (60 anni dopo ?) che tende a essere la ricostituzione della Mostra internazionale d'arte psicopatologica del 1950.

Sull'evento del 1950, si puo' leggere il libro di Robert Volmat edito nel 1955 : L'Art psychopathologique (L'Arte psicopatologica), di cui André Breton -fatto sintomatico- aveva conservato una copia nella sua biblioteca.

Appuntamento al vernissage di area, dunque, il 31 marzo 2011 alle ore 19.
